Charles Johnson & Co. Attorneys-at-Law was founded in 1991
by Henry Charles Johnson, specializing mainly in criminal and civil
litigation. The company operated from four locations: Montego Bay,
Ocho Rios, Mandeville and Kingston. The firm later extended its operations
to Falmouth in the Parish of Trelawny and May Pen in the Parish of
Clarendon. There are three full time attorneys and several working
on contracts.
Areas of specialization include Immigration matters, Real Estate, Conveyancing, Employment Law and Industrial Relations, Company and Commercial law. The senior attorney H. Charles Johnson has 30 years experience having been a clerk of the courts with the Jamaican government and having also worked extensively overseas doing legal investigations for large firms. Because of the mission of the firm, it is staffed with attorneys who are qualified to handle any type of matters including tax and investment portfolio.

Charles Johnson :- admitted to the Jamaican Bar in 1991. Education:- educated in the West Indies at the University of The West Indies and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and a Certificate in Legal Education (CLE). Also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Florida International University. Prior to being admitted to the Bar Mr. Johnson was the CEO of Jamaica Creditors Investigation & Consultant Bureau Limited from 1973 to 1984 and the CEO of Public Relations & Management Services Limited form 1984-1989. |
